Lyrics

She's the leather queen dressed in black,
With her halo of hair all set back,
Surrounded by a hungry wolf-pack,
Wherever she goes.
She's the mistress of the mystery,
A goddess of brutality,
But there's an unmistaken purity,
She don't show.
The boys think that they know her well,
But they're all under her spell,
And she wants 'em all to go to hell,
And leaver her alone.

And as the weary evening sky grows dark,
The hungry wolfs are beginning to bark,
What she can't speak; she know in her heart,
There still lies a spark.

Then Don Juan arrives in a flash of fire,
And all he knows is fear and desire,
Just a spike and chain vampire,
He sucks her dry.
And all she knows are his lips and hands,
As they touch with no attempt to understand,
But he was never part of her plans,
Just another guy,
And the motorcycle demons leave,
And she never had the urge to grieve,
She could never be that weak,
Or else she'd die.

And the leather men finally return,
With their lacerations and their burns,
And she lies and says it turns he on,
And they join together, and they all get high,
And she watches as the moon floats by,
It must be my turn to die,
She says to no one,
The punishment and all the pain,
Are the only truths that remain,
It's the price you pay for being sane,
Under the strain.

And as the weary evening sky grows dark,
The hungry wolfs are beginning to bark,
What she can't speak she knows in her heart,
There still lies a spark- but was it just a spark?
